"Cavern" is an installation inspired by the Lecaux Caverns in Southern France.

This installation features hand woven stalagmites and stalactites made from hand spun

wool yarn paired with linen, copper, silver and brass. The lights emerge from within the

woven forms; the surrounding cavern was created using a raised floor and false ceiling, dropped

down from the actual walls. Viewers were only allowed to view the interior of the cave through

eyeholes in the cavern walls constructed of a dark, heavy cloth.
